Developed Countries are pushing hard to Be allowed to increase logging emissions.  They plan to increase emissions by around half a billion tons of CO2.  They will do this by removing logging emissions from the books.

Under the proposed new Kyoto rules, all developed countries would be allowed to increase their emissions from the forest sector and would not have to account for the increase in emissions reduction targets.

Australia’s planned increase in logging emissions would mean its commitment to reduce emissions by a minimum of five per cent and a maxiumum of 15 per cent would would be reduced to one per cent and at best 11 per cent.

The LULUCF Loopholes are UNACCEPTABLE
